Welcome to the Suicide Prevention and Resilience Training.

This is a course designed for the purpose of promoting and improving the mental health and resilience of law enforcement officers, first responders, and public safety professionals.

PURPOSE

  1. To promote mental health and resilience.

  2. To lower suicidal statistics of law enforcement, first responders, and public safety professionals.

  3. To introduce your officers to new concepts in the development of thinking processes.

  4. To provide psychological, cognitive, and behavioral tools that will enable your officers to make sense of the complexity of their own self and the world around them, as well as teach them how to utilize those tools for the purpose of improving their thinking processes, actions, and interactions with others. 

  5. To give your officers the intellectual capacity to control the context and development of their thinking patterns and processes.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  1. Analyze the quality of thoughts and thinking patterns.

  2. Introduce new concepts in the development of thinking processes.

  3. Provide psychological, cognitive, and behavioral tools that will enable one to make sense of the complexity of their own self and the surrounding environment. 

  4. Overcome mental obstacles that block the ability to think clearly, behave more appropriately, and perform on the highest level.
